Congrats to Julian Dupuis for his successful PhD defense!

This Wednesday, Julian Dupuis, a now former student of the Sperling Lab, successfully defended his PhD. His thesis, entitled “Speciation and hybridization in the Old World swallowtail butterfly (Papilio machaon) species complex”, incorporated phylogenetic, population genetic, and landscape genetic approaches to characterizing hybridization and speciation in swallowtail butterflies across North America. Congratulations from everyone in the Sperling Lab, and we wish you the best in your future endeavours!
